For the 24 who did not form the classes, they were trained with either stacking or clustering stimuli. 36% formed the classes with stacking, while 15% formed the classes with clustering

The authors used transcriptions of 149 full school days and found that teachers of younger students use more praise (found to be true in several studies) and that positive comments decrease throughout the day. More positive statements also correlated with lower office referrals

In a matching-to-sample game, 56 participants were assigned to groups with more reinforcement, a balance, or more punishment. After 7 days, they were tested for maintenance of arbitrary 3-member classes. The more punishment group had equivalence class formation disrupted, while the amount of reinforcement did not affect learning

In an ABA grad program, criterion-referenced grading was used for an experimental group, wherein if they failed to meet criteria on an assignment they received 1-on-1 corrective teaching. The experimental group grades increased and students reported high satisfaction, whereas the control group did not see gains in grades
