Flashback
The Worm Runner’s Digest, a fascinating mess that published commentary, satire, and real data (and even B.F. Skinner under a pseudonym) inspired a lot of people. The originator of the journal studied conditioning in planaria, a simple worm. The Unabomber, who may have had some kind of a traumatic experience in college when he volunteered for an “interrogation” experiment, may have believed that Worm Guy was involved in human behavior and sent him a bomb.
